Teaneck Road Hot Bagels

Best bagels and coffee in town, and arguably in Jersey. Always incredibly delicious bagels, and the coffee is also so good. The workers are fast and efficient ensuring you get your order quickly. I've been coming to Teaneck Bagels for over a decade and I don't see that changing anytime soon. A must visit if you're in Teaneck. If you don't know what to get, I highly recommend the everything/garlic bagel with lox/scallion cream cheese for something salty or the cinnamon raisin with strawberry cream cheese for something sweet. And get a nice hot coffee to go with it.

As a Jersey girl, I may be picky when it comes to what a good bagel is. This place nails it. The crumb of the bagel is unique; soft, slightly chewy, and excellent even untoasted. The cream cheeses...let's just say the scallion cream cheese may be the best I've ever had. Their cream cheese taste like it's all made on premises. I would be mistaken to not mention the lox. They give you your money's worth and then some. I prefer my lox with sundried tomato cream untoasted. For service, they're fast, friendly, and helpful. There could be a line (cause everyone knows how good this place is) but you're not waiting long.

Fantastic experience here! We came around 15 minutes before closing and were able to get a delicious salmon bagel. The guy even threw in a few extra for free! The whole sandwich was truly outstanding. These are regular sized bagels (compared to some places that really have giant bagels). I will say it was a bit pricey so I think next time I’ll just grab the bagel and get the salmon/cream cheese/toppings at the grocery store so I have extra.

Great place to get bagels in the teaneck area. Their lox bagel and everything bagel was great, they refilled their bagels, hot and ready. Great service, decent price, good portion sizes. I love how crispy and soft the bagels were. They definitely give you a lot of spread, which is nice. I’d highly recommend this place thing I would come back.

I live in the Washington, DC area, but spent several years of my adolescence in Brooklyn, so I know a great bagel when I see and taste one. After reading an article in a food magazine, a few years ago, that listed Teaneck as best bagel shop in the NYC area, I had to investigate. While I didn't try the bagels at each of the top 50 shops listed in the article, I was totally convinced that Teaneck could indeed be the best. Ever since reading that article, I've been making an annual pilgrimage from DC to Teaneck. Each trip, I come away with at least ten dozen, which I freeze and enjoy throughout the year. (To thaw the bagel, I recommend preheating an air fryer to 400 degrees, then inserting frozen bagel for 5 minutes, then let stand in the shut off oven for 1 minute.)
